On a brisk Autumn morning in September of 1999, little anxious Harlie walked down the steps of her new school to start her first day of kindergarten. Looking for a friendly face, she approached another little human and before even asking their name, Harlie asked them what day their birthday was. To Harlie's surprise, their answer was the same as her own, May 16th. That little human was Alex. Little did the two know, that that day, a lifelong friendship was born.
